Rise and Build-July Update

It’s summertime and the living is easy. Fish are jumping, cotton is high, and our commitment to the Rise and Build campaign continues to move forward. Take a look at the progress that has been made thus far…

· Additional construction and electrical work have been done in Bryant Hall and the boiler room to provide the new chiller piping, which services the FMC and children’s facilities.

· In “Toon Town,” demolition has been completed for the following: all stage sets, room sets, sound/lighting booth, audio/video lines, lighting circuits, and dimmer packs. Carpet has been removed from the stage and electrical room. Structural steel for new speakers has been installed. Three new 240v, 3-phase lighting panels have been installed.

· In the atrium, painting of the stairs has been completed, and painting of the trim has begun.

· In the Café, new outlets and switches have been installed. A new door and hardware for storage room have been installed. Flooring has been installed. Trim has been added to the knee wall, and corner guards have been installed on the knee wall and column. A 4’x26’ drop ceiling grid and tile have been installed. A new TV and HDMI and cat-6 cables have been installed. Trim and walls have been painted. All doors have been stripped and refinished. The roll-up fire door has been repaired.

Hot summer days and warm summer nights have not been sufficient to stall the progress in our continued work on this project. There is no obstacle that can stand in the way of completing the work to which God has called us. Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we proceed to Rise and Build!
